Welcome to Carmody-Online!

CO started way back in March 2000, when a test messageboard was left open for registration accidently. It all started off as a method of procrastination, a way of avoiding doing assignments for University! When Jacqui came back to it two days later, some of her friends (online, and offline) had started posting there about IC and Obernewtyn.

Not wanting to rain on anybody's parade, she then published the site and invited several members from other Carmody websites to join in and help testing the new site. From that point on, Carmody-Online has slowly evolved into what you see now!

We hit our first big milestone - 100 members - about a year later and we haven't looked back ever since.

September 2003 saw us change hosts and do some major tidying up of the site. We've now added an open News submission system and an online Fanfiction section which means that all of our members have the ability to change and alter the site with their own content.

We are now running with the Drupal content management system, along with several other tweaks and add-on's that Jacqui has written specifically for us in PHP and javascript. If you want to help out with the site in any capacity (writing, graphics, coding, etc) then contact Jac or leave a message in the Councilcourt forum.
